What is the time frame for a web design project?

The time it takes to build a website varies depending on many variables. These variables include, client response time, content preparation/organization, degree of website complexity, website functionality requirements, number of pages to be built and website hosting compliance. We set the time frame in the initial proposal, but generally it takes 30 to 90 days from the signed contract to migrating the completed website.

How soon will I begin to see SEO results?

SEO is a complicated organism of many moving parts. Our typical marketing campaign aims to represent all SEO factors to deliver more consistent steady results over brief immediate spikes in activity. This requires at least 60 days of laying the foundation to ensure your site remains on the front page of search engines each month after.

If I already have a site, is it a good idea to buy a new one?

Websites need constant upkeep to ensure they are not just a money sink, but rather an investment with tangible returns. If your website is over 3 years old, it may be time to upgrade. For a very modest amount of money the site can be replaced with a much more advanced modern site with new functionality, and more capabilities. The software and designs used in site development have come leaps and bounds in the last few years. If your site is lacking mobile functionality, eCommerce, a full width layout, is unable to display 4k content and seems slow and unresponsive at times, its time for the upgrade.

Is either service worth the investment?

A large portion of the population now exclusively uses the internet to find people, products, services and businesses. If you or your organization are not well represented on the internet, you are disconnected from a notable revenue stream. A website is the first step to building your brand online and marketing allows for an advantage of your competitors.

What if I am already paying for a domain and/or hosting?

Once we build your site, everything can be easily migrated to your existing hosting company. We build all of our sites on temporary domains so your current domain and website will remain undisturbed until you are ready to switch over. This seamless transition has very minimal downtime of only a few hours and there will be no change in your monthly hosting bill.

Once finished with the design process, will I be in control of my site?

Not only is the website completely yours, we give you full control and access once it is built and migrated to your domain.  We will take the time to teach you about your user friendly WordPress website and to make sure that once we are finished you are fully capable of making changes to your website. If you don’t have the time or simply would rather have us do it, we offer site maintenance packages and website support.

What will I need to get started?

Getting started is simple, we will send an initial questionnaire to complete and set up a design meeting. Once we have an idea of what your site will require to meet your vision, we simply ask to have your content ready. This includes text content, pictures, videos, PDFs, and social media/contact information. We will require any log-in credentials for existing sites and hosting information at the end of the process.

I have never owned a website, what is my first step?

Owning a website is a huge step for any individual or organization and requires proper time and attention to ensure it is done properly. The first step is organizing the content and information you want on your site. It is also pertinent to start brainstorming ideas and creating a rough vision for your website in your mind. This often times is difficult for those unfamiliar with websites so we recommend searching the internet for websites you like, this crucial groundwork  will help us connect your initial thoughts to your finished product.
